Terms of Service

Effective October 23, 2026

These terms apply to coibinder.com and to the COIBinder founding membership. By using the site or paying for a founding membership, you agree to them. COIBinder ("we," "us") is operated from Reno, Nevada, USA.

What COIBinder is

COIBinder is software, currently in development, that helps small contractors store and track certificates of insurance, licenses, certifications, permits, lien waivers and W-9s, with reminders before documents expire.

What COIBinder is not

• We are not an insurance agency, broker or law firm, and nothing on this site is legal, insurance or tax advice.
• We don't file liens, verify the validity of insurance coverage, or guarantee that any document is accurate or sufficient. Confirm coverage and legal requirements with your insurance agent or attorney.
• We don't hold, move or process your money, apart from the founding-membership payment described below.

Founding membership

• Price: a one-time payment of $29, processed by Stripe.
• What you get: early access when COIBinder launches, your first 2 months of the Starter plan included, and the Starter plan at $19/month after that for as long as you keep your subscription active.
• Refunds before launch: you can request a full refund at any time before launch by emailing hello@coibinder.com. No questions asked.
• Launch deadline: if COIBinder is not available to founding members by March 31, 2027, we will refund every founding member in full.
• After launch, continuing past the 2 included months requires an active subscription, which you can cancel anytime.

Planned pricing

Prices shown on the site for plans after launch are our current plan and may change before launch. Founding-member pricing will be honored as described above.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and keep your contact email current.
• Only upload documents you have the right to share.
• Don't misuse the site, attempt to break it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Your data

You own the documents and information you give us. You can export or delete them at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Limitation of liability

COIBinder is provided "as is." Reminders depend on the dates entered and on email delivery, which we can't guarantee. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from a lapsed document, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and significant changes will be emailed to founding members.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA.
